Muesli Breakfast – Recipe of the Week
This week we take a look at a healthy muesli breakfast recipe from Shape My Plan. It contains a combination of fruit, seeds and of course muesli for a terrific mixture of textures, ingredients and health benefits. While a breakfast recipe, you can of course make it as a snack at any time of day. Consider spreading the love too and making it for your friends and family and they are sure to appreciate this beneficial boost to their day.
Recipe Ingredients List
- Fat Free Greek Yoghurt (125g)
- Unsweetened Muesli (95g)
- Blueberries (ten)
- Banana (one)
- Honey or Maple Syrup
- Chia Seeds (half a tablespoon)
Cut the medium-sized banana into slices and place them into a bowl. Add the ten blueberries into the bowl also.
Spoon the yoghurt into the bowl also and then sprinkle the muesli on top. Mix all of these ingredients together and take care to not crush or burst the blueberries while doing so.
Leave the bowl for ten to fifteen minutes to let the yoghurt soften the muesli slightly and also allowing the flavours to meld together.
For an optional final touch of sweetness, you can choose to drizzle either some honey or maple syrup over your muesli breakfast.
