Westpark Fitness Christmas 2019 Hike

06 Nov 2019

It’s coming up to that time of year again when we have our Christmas 2019 hike for Westpark Fitness members and their friends and family! It is a great way to embrace the great outdoors together during the winter months and has become a popular tradition here at Westpark Fitness. Here we explain all the details of the hike and if you are interested in coming, contact Alison on either fitness@westpark.ie or 0879574514

The Hike – Glendalough
The hike will take place at Glendalough (starting at 9:15am) and it will be on a track the whole way. As such hiking boots are not essential, but they are still useful so please feel free to wear them if you like. Either way, wear footwear that is secure and will keep your feet dry. For those of you who have not been there before, Glendalough is one of the most scenic locations in Ireland and is popular with hiking enthusiasts of all abilities. The hike itself will take between two and a half to three hours to complete. Note that the hike is free to attend.

Christmas Meal – The Hollywood Inn
After the hike then, we will be having a Christmas meal in The Hollywood Inn, County Wicklow from 2pm – 5pm. A nice and festive way to relax and refuel after the hike. This will cost €25 per head. Note that this is optional and you can just attend the hike instead if you prefer. But if you and your friends / family are interested in attending for the Christmas meal too; please let us know as soon as you can so that we can confirm numbers for the meal.

To book in for the hike, meal or both; contact Alison on fitness@westpark.ie or 0879574514 – we can’t wait to bring the fitness outdoors and celebrate at this festive time of year!
