Many of us live our lives rushing through to-do lists, struggling to balance work, family, social life, personal development, or focusing on one of these too much, by missing out on others, feeling tension, worry, stress and anxiety, losing awareness of who we really are and what we really want…

Yoga for anxiety class is designed to help with mental health, to help you feel stronger, more relaxed, more balanced and happier.
We will try to slow down, be present, release tension, let go and just be.
Focus on stimulating our energy centres (chakras), to release energy flow through any blockages we might have, to reconnect with our instincts and follow our dreams:
– Solar plexus chakra is associated with personal power, when it’s imbalanced, we feel a lack of confidence, fear of failure, low self-esteem, lack of direction
– The heart chakra is associated with love, unity, connection with others. When imbalanced we might have trust issues, feel shy and lonely
– Root chakra: when imbalanced we feel uncertain, anxious, weak, self-conscious
– Throat chakra: when imbalanced we feel social anxiety, struggle to express our feelings, wants, needs, struggle to communicate
