Well summer 2019 is well and truly behind us now as we are into mid-October and the colder and darker weather is here to stay. Understandably, many people don’t like to venture outdoors too much at this time of year; but we hope that it won’t set you back from reaching and maintaining your health and fitness goals! Winter Warmer Recipes
You can still enjoy comforting and hearty foods and meals in the winter time with our recipe of the week blogs. These present you with tasty homemade recipes that are designed to be healthy overall in terms of aligning with the Shape My Plan app (click / tap here for more information) recipes for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Expect to see plenty of scrumptious soups, filling feasts and more that you and your friends and family are sure to love! A new recipe of the week blog is published every weekend so that you can pick up the ingredients when grocery shopping for the week ahead.

Ireland’s Only Stainless Steel Pool
Don’t let the colder weather disrupt your swimming routine as we are home to Ireland’s only stainless steel pool! This gives you a more hygienic experience overall and keeps the pool water at a pleasantly warm temperature at all times. Make use of this for your own swimming and leisure activities or as part of our swimming lessons, coached lane swimming and Aqua Fitness classes! Our pool area is also home to our relaxing jacuzzi and both are options to consider if you are looking for some active recovery after your exercise and workouts.

Times to Suit You
On top of our great opening times (opening as early as 6am and staying open as late as 11pm), our fitness classes are also held throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. This means that you can choose when suits you best to exercise and workout when you prefer. Perhaps you want to stop off on your way home from work so that when you go home afterwards you are in for the night; or maybe you prefer to complete your exercise first thing in the morning for an energetic start to the day? Either way, our considered opening hours and class times are attuned to you and your aspirations to fit fitness into your schedule and lifestyle.

Let’s not use the winter months as an excuse to falter with our fitness. Rather, use the services and facilities of your gym for life as fuel for your health to continue to prosper during the colder months. We all know how quick time seems to fly by in Ireland, so with some consistency and routine in the gym – the brighter and warmer days will be back before we know it!
