Tuna Salad Wrap
Recipe Ingredients
- Tuna (100g can in brine or spring water)
- Cucumber (four slices)
- Red Pepper (three slices)
- Tomato (one)
- Sweetcorn (one tablespoon)
- Reduced Fat Mayonnaise (two teaspoons)
- Wholemeal Wrap (one)
Step 1
Drain the can of tuna and place it into a bowl. Chop the slices of pepper, dice the slices of cucumber and slice the tomato until they are all in smaller chunks. Along with the sweetcorn and reduced fat mayonnaise, mix all of these ingredients well together in the bowl.
Step 2
Spread the wholemeal wrap out flat on a plate or chopping board. Note that you can of course use a gluten-free wrap if required. It is also an idea to toast or grill the wrap ever so slightly if you would like to make this a warm / hot dish to enjoy. Spoon the mixture into the middle of the wrap.
Step 3
Roll the wrap up tightly – making sure that none of the filling escapes from each of the ends. Cut it in half and it is ready to serve, eat and enjoy!
