Aqua Fitness
A great cardio & strength workout in the pool. A great cross-training class for all fitness levels. This class benefits your body by providing 12 times the resistance of land-based classes yet only 10% of the stress & strain on your body.
Circuit Training
A combination of aerobic & resistance exercises done within a class format - a great endurance class to music.
Coached Lane Swimming
This is a free lane swimming class which runs for an hour under the supervision of our qualified instructor. It is aimed at people that can swim 2 lengths or more without stopping. Different swim sets are given each week to improve fitness and endurance.
Step
This class is a low impact workout on a Reebok step. It is a great fat burner and helps tone the legs and bum. It also helps promote co ordination and balance.
Push & Lift
Warning: This may change the 'shape of your body'!!! A 60 minute Barbell endurance class. Each song focuses on a specific muscle group giving you a full body workout. Suitable for all levels challenge for the experienced trainer.
Kettlebells
A strength and toning class using kettlebell weights to help tone and firm the entire body.
Taster Class
A chance to sample a variety of classes and the techniques Involved. Includes Kettlebells, Push and lift and Spinning. Aimed at the Beginner or people looking to improve there technique.
TRX Training
The class that is taking the fitness world by storm. TRX is a fun and dynamic workout that builds strenght, flexibility and endurance while burning calories and strenghtening your core. TRX Training harnesses your body weight with the use of suspended straps giving great results for all fitness levels.
Functional Training
A favourite of personal trainers up till now. This class is a fun way to get great results, this class has both aerobic and strength benefits. Functional classes give you the flexibility to work at your own level. Equipment used includes, kettle bells, ropes, medicine balls and body resistance exercises. As the name suggest this class gives you the functional strength to perform all your day to day tasks with less risk of injury.
Pilates
This Class is free to members. Pilates works on improving posture, strenght and muscle tone. It also helps with flexibility and balance and is great for stress relief.
Yoga
Also free to members,Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic form of yoga working on flexibility and muscle tone and promotes healthty internal organs
Begin to Cycle
This class is perfect for the first time cyclist who would like a gentle introduction
to indoor cycling. This class will involve one – to – one instruction on how to set up
your bike, safety points and how the gears work. The goal of this class is to get you
comfortable enough to try one of our other classes.
Indoor Cycling Class Descriptions
Intervals
If you want to improve your training by using extensive and intensive endurance,
threshold levels, anaerobic endurance, strength, power and speed, then this is the
class for you. Taught as a series of high intensity work that alternates with periods of
rest or low activity, this is a very popular class.
Endurance
This workout will push your endurance limits! You will conquer various terrains
including hill climbs and fast flats working with RPMs (rotations per minute) and
gears to push you for as long as you can go.
Strength/ Climbing
In this class the focus is on challenging your climbing muscles with a workout
specifically designed to mimic a long mountain climb on a bike. In this workout you
will continuously climb until you hit the top.
Race Day
On your mark, get set, GO!! In this class you will get to test yourself against your
personal goals and race other cyclists in the class. It’s like being in a stage of the Tour
De France!!
Instructors Choice
The instructor will dish out whatever they like in this class!!
